De-clutter and Organize: Start by sorting through all stored items, keeping only what is truly necessary and discarding the rest. To shield your possessions from moisture and the occasional uninvited critters, consider using storage bins with secure lids and prominently sized labels. Stack these bins vertically to make the most out of your garage's storage capacity.
Tackle the Stains: An absorbent like sawdust or cat litter can be an effective solution for soaking up grease, oil, and other substances that may stain your garage floor. Allow the sawdust or litter to rest on the stain for a minimum of 24 hours. Once swept up, coat the stains with dishwasher detergent and let it work for approximately 45 minutes. Finally, pour boiling water over the detergent-covered stains and scrub vigorously.
Repair Floor Cracks: Employ an epoxy paste for filling any cracks in your garage floor. Apply the paste and scrape off any excess so it remains flush with the floor. Once the epoxy is fully cured, a light sanding will provide a smooth, even finish.
